1. Who we are
Finance Leads (UK) operates the ukfinanceleads.net website and associated UK consumer-facing enquiry portals. We are the data controller for personal data collected through our UK properties and are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

2. Data we collect
- Name, work email, phone number and job title
- Company name, sector, region and trading information
- Finance requirement details (product type, amount, purpose)
- Consent metadata: timestamp, IP address, source URL and the wording shown at capture
- Call recordings where a phone-verification step takes place
3. Lawful basis (UK GDPR Article 6)
We rely on consent for most direct marketing to individuals, and legitimate interests for B2B outreach to corporate subscribers, supported by a documented balancing test. Soft opt-in is used only for closely related services as permitted by PECR.

- To qualify, vet and deliver finance enquiries to authorised UK broker and lender partners

- To improve our vetting, suppression and delivery processes
5. Sharing with broker and lender partners
When you submit an enquiry, your details are shared with the UK-authorised broker or lender partner best matched to your requirement. Each partner is an independent controller from the point of receipt and operates under their own privacy policy. Where we run a campaign solely for one partner, we act as processor under a Data Processing Agreement.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last interaction, after which records are deleted or anonymised. Suppression lists are retained indefinitely to honour opt-out requests, as permitted by ICO guidance.
7. International transfers
Personal data is processed in the UK and EEA. Where any sub-processor is based outside these regions we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with a transfer risk assessment.
8. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise any right, email hello@financeleads.net.
